Technical Specifications for a Fuel Tank Semi-Trailer to be towed by a Tractor Head Truck with suitable Fifth-Wheel Capacity.
Load (Filling) Metho : Capable of both Bottom and Top Loading.
Construction : Welded Steel Construction to EN10025 grade S235.
• End Caps : 5mm thick.
• Shell and Baffles : 4mm thick.
• Saddles : 6mm thick.
• Chassis : Heavy Duty Steel Built-Up Section.
The Tank is fitted with a complete Bottom Loading System [EMCO WHEEATON] as per SAUDI ARAMCO Standards consisting of the following items:
• Two 4" Gravity Delivery Lines at the rear (one to each side of the tank) fitted with CP Ball Valves and protected suitably by cabinets.
• All Pipe Work is made of Steel Pipes.
• As per load calculation and cargo weight.
• Twin-Lines Air Brake System [WABCO] acting on all wheels with "S" Cam actuation with two diaphragm brake chambers per axle. Complete kit including Air Reservoir and Load Sensing Valve.
• Mechanical Parking Brake.
• Tire fitted to suitable Disc Rims plus one spare tire.
• Telescopic, Two-Speed Mechanical Landing Gear [JOST] manually operated from one side, Lifting Capacity (24 Tons) & Static Load Capacity (50 Tons).
• Heavy Duty Replaceable Type 2" [JOST] King Pin conforming to SAE standards and mounted to Heavy-Duty Friction Plate.
• The tank is internally cleaned and diesel washed.
• The tank & chassis are Grit Blasted to SA2.5 for better paint adhesion.
• The tank & chassis are externally coated with one coat of Anti-Corrosive Primer and two coats of High Quality Polyurethane Paint to White Color with a Longitudinal Red Strip and Sign Writing as per ARAMCO Regulations.
• 7-Pin Quick Release Connector.
• 24 Volt Rear Light Units, each comprising Tail, Brake and Signal Lights.
• High Luminosity Side Marker Lights.
The vehicle comes provided with the following accessories :
• Basket Type Spare Wheels Carrier suitable for fitment of Two Wheels.
• Mudguards with Rubber Mud Flaps for rear wheels.
• Tool Box (without tools).
